Last evening I attended the first meeting of Billy's Vintage Computer Club at Billy's Midway Arcade in Hawthorne. We had an incredibly fun time playing with a variety of vintage computers including a TRS 80, Apple II and Commodore Pet to name a few. The highlight of the evening was a working prototype Hubot robot!
I brought a few boxes of my old floppy disk games from the middle 80's and was able to play them on an Apple II. Some of these games I haven't played since the late 1970's!
I want to thank Billy Smith for hosting a terrific evening and encourage anyone in the area who's a vintage computer enthusiast to attend the next meeting.
